11/10/25 Good morning, Friends,  Romans 14:7–9 (LSB) — “For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived, that He might rule over both the dead and the living.” This passage hits deep. Paul is reminding us that life isn’t about us. Every breath we take, every step we make, belongs to the Lord. Whether we’re living or dying, succeeding or struggling, the purpose remains the same: to bring glory to Jesus. That means our time, our choices, our energy, and even our pain aren’t random, they’re all part of God’s plan to display His grace through us. That’s a hard truth in a world that constantly tells us to “live for yourself.” But as believers, **NEWS FLASH** 🗞️ we don’t belong to ourselves, we belong to Christ . He bought us with His blood, and now our lives are His testimony. That changes how we see ...

11/6/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 23:1 - The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need This verse sounds simple, but it’s powerful. David is saying that God isn’t just out there somewhere, but that God is personally involved in caring for him, like a shepherd who watches over every sheep. God isn’t  helping from a distance; He’s close, guiding, protecting, and providing. This is a reminder that God chose us first. We didn’t wander up to Him, He came after us. Just like a shepherd goes looking for lost sheep, God takes the first step to bring us into His care. That means His love and care don’t depend on how strong, smart, or faithful we are, but on His mercy and grace. Because the Lord, the all-powerful, unchanging God, is our Shepherd, we can truly say, “I have all that I need.” Even when life feels uncertain or lacking, we can trust that God is already providing exactly what’s best for us. Our peace doesn’t come from having everything we want, but from knowing th...

11/3/25 Good morning, Brothers & Sisters, Colossians 4:6 - Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. This verse reminds us that our words are not small things, they hold the power to heal, to inspire, or to harm. Paul urges us to make grace the foundation of every conversation. That means responding with kindness when it would be easier to criticize, choosing patience when tempers rise, and offering understanding when someone fails.  “Seasoned with salt 🧂” paints 🎨 the image of words that add value and flavor to life, words that preserve truth, bring encouragement, and make people thirst for more of God’s goodness. But this isn’t always easy. It requires self-control, humility, and an awareness that our speech reflects who we belong to. Every conversation, whether at home, work, or even on social platforms, is an opportunity to represent Christ. It challenges us to ask: Are my words reflecting ...

10/30/25 Good morning, Friends,  James 1:12 - Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him Every test you face today is not meaningless, it is a divine opportunity. Trials are not interruptions to your spiritual life; they are the arena where your faith is refined, proven, and put on display. What if the difficulties you might be resisting are the very things God is using to shape you for eternity? James calls believers to persevere, to keep loving, obeying, and believing even when life feels heavy. The one who endures doesn’t simply survive; they grow stronger in loyalty to Christ Jesus .  The “crown of life” is not just a reward for what we have done, no, it's the gift of God’s own life shared with those who truly love Him. Every unseen act of faithfulness, every tear held back while quietly trusting, every “yes” to God in the face of hardship, none of it is w...

10/29/25 Good morning, Friends,  Luke 22:33–34 (LSB) — “But he said to Him, ‘Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!’ But He said, ‘I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.’” Peter really meant well. His heart was full of passion and loyalty when he told Jesus he’d follow Him anywhere,  even to prison or death. But when the pressure hit, fear took over, and Peter did exactly what he swore he wouldn’t: he denied Jesus three times . This moment reminds us that good intentions aren’t the same as strong faith. Sometimes we’re like Peter, real quick to say, “Lord, I’ll never turn my back on You,” but then life gets real. The heat rises, the crowd’s watching, and suddenly we shrink back. Jesus wasn’t trying to embarrass Peter; He was exposing Peter’s weakness so He could strengthen 💪 him later. God still does that with us today. He lets us see how fragile our confidence is when it’s built on...

10/24/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 29:1 -Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery. Let’s be honest,  nobody likes correction. Whether it’s from God, a parent, a pastor, or a friend, being told we’re wrong doesn’t feel good. But Proverbs 29:1 warns us what happens when we keep ignoring correction. It says that if someone keeps hardening their heart after being warned again and again, a time will come when they’ll face consequences that can’t be undone. In other words, you can only ignore God’s voice for so long before it catches up with you. This verse isn’t meant to scare you; it’s meant to wake you up. God’s correction isn’t punishment,  it’s protection. He doesn’t call us out to shame us; He calls us back to save us. When we push Him away, we’re not just rejecting His way, we’re rejecting His grace. And eventually, that hard heart can crack under pressure. So don’t wait until life falls apart to start listen...

10/23/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 25:2  - It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings to search out a matter Sometimes we want to know why God does what He does , like why He allows pain, why doors close, why prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling. But Proverbs 25:2 reminds us that some things are hidden on purpose. God’s glory isn’t just in what He reveals, it’s also in what He conceals. This shows us the difference between the Creator and the created. God is sovereign,  meaning He rules over everything, and He doesn’t owe us an explanation.  That's hard pill to swallow but it's the truth nevertheless. Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us.” In other words, God knows what we don’t, and He reveals what we need to know, not all we want to know. That’s a humbling and sobering thought, ain’t it? In a world that worships information, God reminds us that faith isn’...
