Good morning, Friends, 

Colossians 2:2-4 NLT
[2] I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. [3] In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. [4] I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments. 

As the day begins, think closely on Paul's words to the Colossians. God's mysterious plan is solely about Christ Jesus. Paul urges the Colossians to have complete confidence in the understanding of God's plan. A person with understanding of God's plan in Christ will not be deceived by the the arguments of those who oppose Christ. 

Friends, be confident in what you know about Jesus Christ. But don't stop 🛑 there! It’s not enough to just know about Him—we need to live by what God has taught us through Him. There are people out there who will try hard to shake your faith. They come up with clever arguments meant to make you doubt God. But if you truly understand and trust God's plan through Jesus, you won’t be fooled.

I encourage you to delve deeper into the Holy Scriptures! Be on guard against all false teachings and intellectual foolishness. These false arguments attempt to pull you into the circus of bafoonery.  

Use the "Stiff Arm" (it's a football 🏈 term)

Stay on Guard ⚔️

Daily Devotional - October 29, 2025

  10/29/25 Good morning, Friends,  Luke 22:33–34 (LSB) — “But he said to Him, ‘Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!’ But He said, ‘I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.’” Peter really meant well. His heart was full of passion and loyalty when he told Jesus he’d follow Him anywhere,  even to prison or death. But when the pressure hit, fear took over, and Peter did exactly what he swore he wouldn’t: he denied Jesus three times . This moment reminds us that good intentions aren’t the same as strong faith. Sometimes we’re like Peter, real quick to say, “Lord, I’ll never turn my back on You,” but then life gets real. The heat rises, the crowd’s watching, and suddenly we shrink back. Jesus wasn’t trying to embarrass Peter; He was exposing Peter’s weakness so He could strengthen 💪 him later. God still does that with us today.   01/01/26 Happy new year and O' happy day! Good morning, Friends,  Luke 17:5 - And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith! In this passage Jesus was teaching His disciples about forgiveness, not the easy kind, but the kind that keeps forgiving even when it’s hard, frustrating, and painful. He was calling them to be patient and long-suffering with people who mess up again and again. The disciples realized real quick that they didn't have enough faith to carry this out on their own. They could've complained, threw a tantrum, got an attitude with Jesus, but the radical part about it is they didn't act fake or make excuses. They went straight to Jesus and said, “Increase our faith.” That’s a powerful moment right there! The disciples understood that following Jesus isn’t just about trying harder.
