Good day, Friends,
Isaiah 31:1 -Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very mighty, but they do not have regard for the Holy One of Israel, nor seek Yahweh!
God's people were trusting in their alliance with Egypt's resources and weapons of war against their enemies. Their trust was not in Yahweh. The question ❓ is why??? Ask yourself , why would Yahweh's people choose to trust in another nation's defense systems in place of Him? The answer is because refused to repent and turn from their evil ways. Instead of going to getting right with the Creator, they chose to align with someone else in order to secure victory. The fruit of an unrepentant heart is to trust in everything except Yahweh.
Interestingly enough, God's people tend to make the mistake today, trusting in world systems, governments, leaders and alliances, instead of the MIGHTY ONE! You can ask yourself why, but the answer will remain the same.
Those who truly trust in God, through Christ, don't just operate in faith when convenient! NO!!! They live by faith in every situation. They live humbly before the almighty with a contrite heart in genuine love and sincerity. They never make a move without going to Yahweh first. It's embedded in the heart of those who love Him.
The mentality and spirituality of a born-again believer in Jesus Messiah is a life of complete surrender. We walk, breath, move, eat to the glory of Yahweh. There is no one or anything more powerful than Him.
Trusting in anything outside of the Holy One is futile, foolish, and truly lacking in biblical truth!
Gear up! We WILL face our enemies but NOT with the weapons of worldly alliances, but by the Spirit of Almighty God!
