Good morning, Friends, 

Philippians 4:11-13 LSB
[11] Not that I speak from want, for I learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. [12] I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in abundance; in any and all things I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. [13] I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

In today’s world, being content isn’t common. Whether someone is rich or poor, healthy or sick, hungry or full—most people want more. And even when they get more, it usually only makes them happy for a little while. Then that feeling fades, and they start chasing after even more. Always wanting more can leave people feeling stressed out, ungrateful, and unsettled. Let’s be real—life has its highs and lows, twists and turns, just like a roller coaster. And in the middle of all that, it's easy to forget how to just be content.

In these verses, the Apostle Paul talks about different seasons of life. He knew what it felt like to be on top—having plenty—and he also knew what it was like to struggle and go without. He had times when he had more than enough to eat, and times when he barely had anything at all. But his message to the Philippians was simple: he learned how to be content no matter what. Whether life was good or hard, Paul had found peace. How? Because his relationship with Jesus the Messiah gave him strength. That connection with Christ is what kept him going and helped him stay content through it all.

Friends, we all know what it’s like to struggle—we can see it coming, feel it, and hear it loud and clear. But those moments aren’t times to give up or complain. They’re times to trust God. Whatever you face, know this: you can get through it because Jesus is with you and will give you what you need to keep going. Now, don’t get it twisted—this doesn’t mean life will always be easy or that you’ll never go without. What it does mean is that you’re never alone. Jesus is right there with you. And because of Him, you can handle whatever life throws your way. He gives you the strength and grace to endure.

Be encouraged.
Silence the complaining. 
Get your trust up!

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. 9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up 📈, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍🏾 this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water 🌊, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast.
