Good morning, Friends,

Psalm 61:2 (AMP) -From the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help].

Sometimes life hits you so hard you feel like you’re way out in the wilderness. You feel like nobody sees you, nobody hears you, and you’re just barely hanging on. David was in that place when he wrote this. He wasn’t chilling in the palace; he was worn out, far from home, and probably wondering if God still had His eyes on him.

He says, "When my heart is overwhelmed…". That’s Bible talk for, "God, I’m running on empty." Have you ever been there? Your body’s moving, but your spirit’s dragging like it’s got weights on it. Bills stacking, relationships stressing, enemies pressing, maaaaaaaan, life will make your heart overwhelmed real quick.

But here’s the key: David doesn’t just collapse where he is. He says, "Lead me to the rock that is higher than I." That’s him saying, God, I can’t climb out of this pit on my own, you gotta pull me up to someplace solid, somewhere above all this chaos.

Sometimes we’re used to trying to figure our own way out of mess. But this verse calls us to stop climbing the same broken ladder and let God lift us. That “rock” is Jesus. He's the steady, unshakable spot where you can breathe again, think straight again, and see above the mess.

Stop trying to fix every problem from the same low place you’re standing in. Ask God to elevate your perspective. Pray like David—direct, honest, no filter. Let Him place you where you can see hope again.

God’s knows where you're at right now. He’s not too far to hear you. Even if you feel like you’re on the “end of the earth,” as David said, your cry reaches up to Him instantly. The same God who lifted David will lift you, if you call out for help!

Feeling worn out? Pray to the Lord, be honest, "Lord I’m tired, and my heart feels worn out. I need You to pull me higher than my struggles, higher than my fear, higher than my own limited thinking. Be my rock today, steady my feet, and keep my eyes fixed on You. Amen."

Hang in there Soldier, don't give up!

    This is so good. This is not only my favorite Psalm by my go to Psalm for strength, encouragement, just an overall reminder of who God is to my life. "Trust in him at all times ye people, Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us"!!! Reading that just quickens my spirit every time.

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. 9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up 📈, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water?
