Daily Devotional - November 26, 2025

11/26/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 17:20 - "Y ou don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. When Jesus told the disciples they lacked faith, He wasn’t telling them to try harder or dig deeper into their own strength. In that moment, they failed because they were depending on themselves instead of depending on Christ Jesus , the One who has all power. And here’s the truth sitting right inside this verse, even the smallest faith is powerful only because Christ is the One who gives it, sustains it, and works through it. A mustard seed ain’t big at all, but when Christ is behind it, that tiny seed becomes unstoppable. Jesus isn’t calling you to be strong in yourself; He’s calling you to trust His strength , His authority, His Word, His power. Check it out, have you ever been in a moment where y...

11/20/25 Good morning 🌄, Beloved of God,  Romans 5:8 (NLT) - But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. God didn’t love you because you reached for Him. He reached for you first. Before you ever believed, before you cared, and even while you resisted Him, God set His love on you. Jesus didn’t die for people who had their lives together, He died for his people who couldn’t save themselves. If God loved you “while you were still a sinner,” then salvation didn’t begin with your decision, it began with God’s decision. Truthfully, how does it change your view of God to realize He initiated everything? That His love for you isn’t fragile, because it never depended on your efforts in the first place? Just sayin 🤷🏾‍♂️ Real talk 🗣️, the same grace that chose you is meant to transform you. You were loved at your worst, so who in your life are you unwilling to love until they “got it together ”? 🤔 God didn’t wait for you....

11/19/25 Good morning 🌞, Friends,  Proverbs 23:9 (NLT)- Don’t waste your breath on fools, for they will despise the wisest advice. This proverb reminds us that not everyone is ready to receive truth, correction, or even help. The Word of God is saying: “Be wise about who you pour into. Some people aren’t looking for guidance, they’re looking to "argue.” This doesn’t mean we stop loving people or stop caring. It means we learn to discern when continuing to talk is no longer productive and when stepping back is the wiser, more peaceful choice. Wisdom isn’t just what we say, it’s knowing when to say it and when to let go. Think of that friend, coworker, or family member who constantly asks for advice, but never actually wants to listen. They come to you with the same issue over and over, but the moment you offer wise guidance, they shut down, get offended, or twist your words. You walk away drained, frustrated, and wondering why you even tried again. This proverb is saying: ...

11/13/25 Good morning, Beloved of God,  1 Peter 2:15–16 (LSB) — [15] For such is the will of God that by doing good you may silence the ignorance of foolish men. [16] Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as slaves of God.” God’s will isn’t confusing, He wants us to live in a way that shuts down the world’s negativity without us even having to say a word. You don’t have to clap back or prove your faith to everybody watching; just live right. When people see how you carry yourself with integrity, love, and consistency, it speaks louder than any argument ever could. Peter reminds us that we’re free, but not free to do whatever we want . We’re free from sin so we can serve God with clean hearts. Understand that real freedom isn’t living wild and reckless, it’s the power to say no to what’s wrong and yes to what’s right. Some people use grace as an excuse to do whatever they want, but true believers use grace as motivation to live like Jesus...

11/10/25 Good morning, Friends,  Romans 14:7–9 (LSB) — “For not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself; for if we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and lived, that He might rule over both the dead and the living.” This passage hits deep. Paul is reminding us that life isn’t about us. Every breath we take, every step we make, belongs to the Lord. Whether we’re living or dying, succeeding or struggling, the purpose remains the same: to bring glory to Jesus. That means our time, our choices, our energy, and even our pain aren’t random, they’re all part of God’s plan to display His grace through us. That’s a hard truth in a world that constantly tells us to “live for yourself.” But as believers, **NEWS FLASH** 🗞️ we don’t belong to ourselves, we belong to Christ . He bought us with His blood, and now our lives are His testimony. That changes how we see ...

11/6/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 23:1 - The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need This verse sounds simple, but it’s powerful. David is saying that God isn’t just out there somewhere, but that God is personally involved in caring for him, like a shepherd who watches over every sheep. God isn’t  helping from a distance; He’s close, guiding, protecting, and providing. This is a reminder that God chose us first. We didn’t wander up to Him, He came after us. Just like a shepherd goes looking for lost sheep, God takes the first step to bring us into His care. That means His love and care don’t depend on how strong, smart, or faithful we are, but on His mercy and grace. Because the Lord, the all-powerful, unchanging God, is our Shepherd, we can truly say, “I have all that I need.” Even when life feels uncertain or lacking, we can trust that God is already providing exactly what’s best for us. Our peace doesn’t come from having everything we want, but from knowing th...

11/3/25 Good morning, Brothers & Sisters, Colossians 4:6 - Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. This verse reminds us that our words are not small things, they hold the power to heal, to inspire, or to harm. Paul urges us to make grace the foundation of every conversation. That means responding with kindness when it would be easier to criticize, choosing patience when tempers rise, and offering understanding when someone fails.  “Seasoned with salt 🧂” paints 🎨 the image of words that add value and flavor to life, words that preserve truth, bring encouragement, and make people thirst for more of God’s goodness. But this isn’t always easy. It requires self-control, humility, and an awareness that our speech reflects who we belong to. Every conversation, whether at home, work, or even on social platforms, is an opportunity to represent Christ. It challenges us to ask: Are my words reflecting ...
