Good morning 🌞, Friends, 

Proverbs 23:9 (NLT)- Don’t waste your breath on fools, for they will despise the wisest advice.

This proverb reminds us that not everyone is ready to receive truth, correction, or even help. The Word of God is saying: “Be wise about who you pour into. Some people aren’t looking for guidance, they’re looking to "argue.” This doesn’t mean we stop loving people or stop caring. It means we learn to discern when continuing to talk is no longer productive and when stepping back is the wiser, more peaceful choice. Wisdom isn’t just what we say, it’s knowing when to say it and when to let go.

Think of that friend, coworker, or family member who constantly asks for advice, but never actually wants to listen. They come to you with the same issue over and over, but the moment you offer wise guidance, they shut down, get offended, or twist your words. You walk away drained, frustrated, and wondering why you even tried again. This proverb is saying: It’s not your job to force wisdom on someone who doesn’t want it. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is step back, pray for them, and let life teach the lesson your words can’t 💯

Ask yourself, "where am I pouring energy into conversations that go nowhere? Am I trying to fix people instead of trusting God to work in their hearts?

Check it out, Friends, God gives us permission to walk in peace. It is not a failure to stop pushing advice, it is wisdom. And when we give our words to people who are ready to hear, God uses them powerfully.

Daily Devotional - October 29, 2025

  10/29/25 Good morning, Friends,  Luke 22:33–34 (LSB) — “But he said to Him, ‘Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!’ But He said, ‘I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.’” Peter really meant well. His heart was full of passion and loyalty when he told Jesus he’d follow Him anywhere,  even to prison or death. But when the pressure hit, fear took over, and Peter did exactly what he swore he wouldn’t: he denied Jesus three times . This moment reminds us that good intentions aren’t the same as strong faith. Sometimes we’re like Peter, real quick to say, “Lord, I’ll never turn my back on You,” but then life gets real. The heat rises, the crowd’s watching, and suddenly we shrink back.   01/01/26 Happy new year and O' happy day! Good morning, Friends,  Luke 17:5 - And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith! In this passage Jesus was teaching His disciples about forgiveness, not the easy kind, but the kind that keeps forgiving even when it’s hard, frustrating, and painful. He was calling them to be patient and long-suffering with people who mess up again and again. The disciples realized real quick that they didn't have enough faith to carry this out on their own. They could've complained, threw a tantrum, got an attitude with Jesus, but the radical part about it is they didn't act fake or make excuses.
