10/30/25 Good morning, Friends,  James 1:12 - Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him Every test you face today is not meaningless, it is a divine opportunity. Trials are not interruptions to your spiritual life; they are the arena where your faith is refined, proven, and put on display. What if the difficulties you might be resisting are the very things God is using to shape you for eternity? James calls believers to persevere, to keep loving, obeying, and believing even when life feels heavy. The one who endures doesn’t simply survive; they grow stronger in loyalty to Christ Jesus .  The “crown of life” is not just a reward for what we have done, no, it's the gift of God’s own life shared with those who truly love Him.   10/29/25 Good morning, Friends,  Luke 22:33–34 (LSB) — “But he said to Him, ‘Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!’ But He said, ‘I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.’” Peter really meant well. His heart was full of passion and loyalty when he told Jesus he’d follow Him anywhere,  even to prison or death. But when the pressure hit, fear took over, and Peter did exactly what he swore he wouldn’t: he denied Jesus three times . This moment reminds us that good intentions aren’t the same as strong faith. Sometimes we’re like Peter, real quick to say, “Lord, I’ll never turn my back on You,” but then life gets real. The heat rises, the crowd’s watching, and suddenly we shrink back. Jesus wasn’t trying to embarrass Peter; He was exposing Peter’s weakness so He could strengthen 💪 him later. God still does that with us today.   10/24/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 29:1 -Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery. Let’s be honest,  nobody likes correction. Whether it’s from God, a parent, a pastor, or a friend, being told we’re wrong doesn’t feel good. But Proverbs 29:1 warns us what happens when we keep ignoring correction. It says that if someone keeps hardening their heart after being warned again and again, a time will come when they’ll face consequences that can’t be undone. In other words, you can only ignore God’s voice for so long before it catches up with you. This verse isn’t meant to scare you; it’s meant to wake you up. God’s correction isn’t punishment,  it’s protection. He doesn’t call us out to shame us; He calls us back to save us. When we push Him away, we’re not just rejecting His way, we’re rejecting His grace. And eventually, that hard heart can crack under pressure. So don’t wait until life falls apart to start listen...

  10/23/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 25:2  - It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings to search out a matter Sometimes we want to know why God does what He does , like why He allows pain, why doors close, why prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling. But Proverbs 25:2 reminds us that some things are hidden on purpose. God’s glory isn’t just in what He reveals, it’s also in what He conceals. This shows us the difference between the Creator and the created. God is sovereign,  meaning He rules over everything, and He doesn’t owe us an explanation.  That's hard pill to swallow but it's the truth nevertheless. Deuteronomy 29:29 says, “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us.” In other words, God knows what we don’t, and He reveals what we need to know, not all we want to know.   10/22/25 Good morning, Friends,  James 5:19-20 - [19] My brothers, if any among you strays from the truth and someone turns him back, [20] let him know that the one who turns a sinner back from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. Let’s keep it real , we all know someone who’s drifted away. Maybe it’s a family member who used to love church fellowship but now they say, “I don’t do that anymore.” Or m aybe it’s a friend who got hurt, fell into sin, or just slowly faded out of the faith. James is saying, don’t just watch them go — go after them. This passage reminds us that the Christian life isn’t a solo walk; it’s a family walk. When one of us wanders, the rest of us should care enough to reach out. That’s what love looks like, it's not gossiping about those who fallen, but gently trying to help them back to the truth. 10/18/25 Good morning, Friends, Lamentations 3:22–23 [22] The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. [23] They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” These words were written in the middle of pain and loss, but they point to something unshakable, the reality that God’s love never quits. His mercy doesn’t dry up, even when we feel like we’ve failed too many times or things seem beyond repair. Every morning 🌞 is proof that God hasn’t given up on us. That truth should both comfort and challenge us. Comfort, because no mistake can cancel His compassion. Challenge, because if God is faithful every day, then we’re called to keep trusting Him every day, especially when we don’t see a way forward. Each sunrise is a fresh invitation to believe again, to forgive again, and to hope again. Our prayer 🤲🏾 today should flow out of gratitude. 10/15/25 Good morning, Friends, James 1:5-6 - [5]  If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.  [6] But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Let’s it real, life can get confusing fast. You’re trying to make the right moves, but the answers aren’t always clear. James reminds us that when we don’t know what to do, we can go straight to God for wisdom. He’s not stingy or annoyed when we ask. In fact, He wants us to come to Him. God gives direction freely, but He wants us to trust Him completely. When we ask God for help, we can’t halfway believe. Some of us pray for answers but already have a backup plan in case God doesn’t move fast enough. That’s what James calls having “divided loyalty or double-minded.” It’s like trying to walk in two directions at the same time, and we...
