6/13/25

Good morning, Friends,

John 12:42-43 NLT
[42] Many people did believe in him, however, including some of the Jewish leaders. But they wouldn’t admit it for fear that the Pharisees would expel them from the synagogue. [43] For they loved human praise more than the praise of God.

Human approval is not necessarily a bad thing. However, loving anything more than God is never a good thing. Here, we see many people who did believe in Jesus, as the son of God, the Messiah. But their fear of the Pharisees was greater. They did not want to be put out of the synagogue for believing in Jesus Christ, so, they chose to be secret believers to avoid persecution.

Friends, there is definitely a cost to trusting in Jesus. There will be consequences for your allegiance to him. Everyone, every system, every organization, everything that is opposed to him will find offense when you are truly submitted in obedience to the teachings of Jesus Messiah. If you faced no persecution, no rejection, no consequence, and if there is no cost to your faith, then your faith isn't really worth anything.

The optics are terrible to imagine people caring more about human approval than God's approval. However, it is more meaningful , in my opinion, for us to look at '"our" lives and see if we operate in the same function, under the same system, with the same thought process in mind. What does your trust in Jesus the Christ "look" like in a world system that is systematically and inherently depraved?

Are you a secret believer? A closet Christian? An actor playing your role to avoid anyone noticing? Is this even possible to be so and truly have a relationship with Christ?

The ball is in your hands, shoot the rock or pass it to someone else .

Good day, Beloved!

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.” That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work. Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching b...

9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up 📈, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍🏾 this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water 🌊, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast. Instead of trying to fight 🥊 through it on his own, David cried out to God: “Save me, O God.” That’s the turning point. When we reach the end of ourselves, God is still strong enough to lift us up. Let's keep it 💯 with God. You don’t have to fake it with Him. If you’re struggling, tell Him straight up. He can handle your honest prayers. Depend on Him!! You don’t have to do life alone or in your own strength. God is able to rescue, comfort, and steady you when you feel like you’re going under. If you fee...

8/18/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 3:1-2 -[1]Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, [2]“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” John the Baptist didn’t show up in a three-piece suit with politically correct words. He came rough, raw, and real, and his message was simple: Repent. Not, “say you’re sorry.” Not, “promise to do better.” Repent. Here’s the difference: asking forgiveness is like telling God, “My bad, I messed up.” Repentance goes deeper—it’s a turning of the heart, mind, and direction. It’s when the Spirit of God flips the script in your soul, and you walk a whole new way. Forgiveness is like the judge stamping your record “cleared.” Repentance is like walking out of court and actually living different! It's proof that God’s the one changing you on the inside. Think of it like this: If I keep apologizing for stealing, but I’m still sliding wallets out of pockets tomorrow, nothing’s really changed. Repentan...
