Good morning, Friends, 

1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you,

Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.”

That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work.

Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching but never working.

Yo, the quiet life ain't about hiding, it’s about "discipline". It’s about building your own house instead of talking about everybody else’s. It’s about working hard so you’re not a burden, but a blessing.

Check ✅ yo'self!! Are you chasing 💨 applause 👏🏾, or chasing God? Are you carrying your weight, or waiting for someone else to carry you?

Let's stay our own lane, not to chase attention but chase obedience. Let's keep me from being a burden and be a blessing.

Daily Devotional - October 29, 2025

  10/29/25 Good morning, Friends,  Luke 22:33–34 (LSB) — “But he said to Him, ‘Lord, with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!’ But He said, ‘I say to you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.’” Peter really meant well. His heart was full of passion and loyalty when he told Jesus he’d follow Him anywhere,  even to prison or death. But when the pressure hit, fear took over, and Peter did exactly what he swore he wouldn’t: he denied Jesus three times . This moment reminds us that good intentions aren’t the same as strong faith. Sometimes we’re like Peter, real quick to say, “Lord, I’ll never turn my back on You,” but then life gets real. The heat rises, the crowd’s watching, and suddenly we shrink back. Jesus wasn’t trying to embarrass Peter; He was exposing Peter’s weakness so He could strengthen 💪 him later. God still does that with us today.   01/01/26 Happy new year and O' happy day! Good morning, Friends,  Luke 17:5 - And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith! In this passage Jesus was teaching His disciples about forgiveness, not the easy kind, but the kind that keeps forgiving even when it’s hard, frustrating, and painful. He was calling them to be patient and long-suffering with people who mess up again and again. The disciples realized real quick that they didn't have enough faith to carry this out on their own. They could've complained, threw a tantrum, got an attitude with Jesus, but the radical part about it is they didn't act fake or make excuses. They went straight to Jesus and said, “Increase our faith.” That’s a powerful moment right there! The disciples understood that following Jesus isn’t just about trying harder.
