6/30/25

Good morning, Friends,

Matthew 5:14-16 -[14] “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. [15] No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 1[6] In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

There's a a major difference between a "sparkling" ✨ versus "shining". A sparkle is an intermittent flash of light whereas, a lamp radiates a light source that is steady, constant, and continuous.

Disciples of Christ are the light of the world, because Christ shines through us. This beacon of transformation cannot hide. You can't play hide and seek becuase it will ALWAYS BE FOUND! Christ Jesus is meant to shine 24/7 through our entire being, which gives glory to the Father.

Ever wonder why people compliment your character? Or when they talk to you they feel so encouraged and connected? Trust me, it's certainly not your charming personality, sorry ๐Ÿ˜ฃ . It's light source, King Jesus, shining through you for the glory of God.  Give God glory every time you are complimented for things that are biblically required for the people of God. You are empowered by, driven by, led by, directed by, transformed by, renewed by, built up by, encouraged by, strengthened by, moved by, and purchase by God!!!! Every good thing about us came from Him and we acknowledge the fact that if it were not for him, we would still be in darkness.

Don't sparkle!!! Let your light shine, not for you but for praise of your heavenly Father. Light attracts. You may think you're the attraction, but you're not, HE is.

So, be the beacon in the darkness,

be the lamp in the night,

be the match in the room!!!

ON YOUR MARK.... GET SET... SHINE!!!!!!!!!!!! ๐Ÿ’ก

Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone)

  1. Wonderful word! The Lords light definitely attracts and if I’m honest there are times I don’t always want what comes with that, but HE is always in control. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’•

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet ๐Ÿคซ life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.” That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work. Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching b...

9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up ๐Ÿ“ˆ, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍๐Ÿพ this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water ๐ŸŒŠ, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast. Instead of trying to fight ๐ŸฅŠ through it on his own, David cried out to God: “Save me, O God.” That’s the turning point. When we reach the end of ourselves, God is still strong enough to lift us up. Let's keep it ๐Ÿ’ฏ with God. You don’t have to fake it with Him. If you’re struggling, tell Him straight up. He can handle your honest prayers. Depend on Him!! You don’t have to do life alone or in your own strength. God is able to rescue, comfort, and steady you when you feel like you’re going under. If you fee...

8/18/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 3:1-2 -[1]Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, [2]“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” John the Baptist didn’t show up in a three-piece suit with politically correct words. He came rough, raw, and real, and his message was simple: Repent. Not, “say you’re sorry.” Not, “promise to do better.” Repent. Here’s the difference: asking forgiveness is like telling God, “My bad, I messed up.” Repentance goes deeper—it’s a turning of the heart, mind, and direction. It’s when the Spirit of God flips the script in your soul, and you walk a whole new way. Forgiveness is like the judge stamping your record “cleared.” Repentance is like walking out of court and actually living different! It's proof that God’s the one changing you on the inside. Think of it like this: If I keep apologizing for stealing, but I’m still sliding wallets out of pockets tomorrow, nothing’s really changed. Repentan...
