7/31/25 Good morning, Friends,  Psalm 51:10 LSB [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Have you ever wished you could just hit a reset button on your life — like, wipe the slate clean and start fresh? That’s exactly what David is doing right here. He's asking God for a fresh start.  David had messed up BIG TIME! He sinned against God, hurt other people, and drifted far from who he knew he was supposed to be. But instead of hiding it or pretending everything was cool, he "owned it". He turned to God and said, “God, I need a new heart. mine’s all messed up. Please clean me from the inside out. Give me the strength to stay faithful to You.” Here’s what’s so dope: God doesn’t just forgive. He "restores". He doesn’t just wipe away the dirt,  He creates something new. He gives us a fresh heart and a steady, committed spirit that helps us walk the straight path again!!!!  Is there something in your life that feels h...

7/30/25 Good morning, Beloved,  Psalm 37:1 -Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. It can be really frustrating to see people doing the wrong thing and still getting ahead. You might ask, “Why am I trying to do what’s right if it doesn’t seem to matter?” Psalm 37:1 is God’s reminder to you: Don’t stress about what others are doing, especially when they’re doing wrong. And don’t waste your energy being jealous of them. Here’s the truth: success that comes from doing wrong won’t last. It might look like they’re winning now, but God sees everything, and in the end, His justice always comes through. You don’t need to worry about what others have or how they got it. God has a plan for you, keep being obedient, keep seeking his glory, keep doing what's right, and keep your heart 💜 pure.  When you keep your focus on God 👀, He’ll give you peace in your heart, even when things around you don’t make sense. Be encouraged. Be empowered. Be consistent. Be unwaver...

7/29/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 20:6 LSB [6] Many a man will call out his own lovingkindness, But a faithful man, who can find? Have you ever noticed how easy it is for people to talk a big game? A lot of folks will claim they’re loyal, trustworthy, and always there when you need them. But when life gets real and the pressure is on, those same people can be hard to find. Words are cheap, but following through takes "character". This verse reminds us that true, reliable friends are rare. Not everyone who says they’ve got your back actually shows up when it counts. And if we’re keeping it a buck , we’ve probably had moments when we’ve fell short of loyalty or made ourselves look better than we were. Proverbs is often called a book of wisdom because it's full of truths like this. It helps us look in the mirror and check our own hearts, not just point fingers at others. So today, instead of just talking about being reliable, let’s aim to be reliable. Let...

7/28/25 Good morning, Friends,  Psalm 7:1 -O Yahweh my God, in You I have taken refuge; Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me, David’s not talking about just any god, he’s calling out Yahweh, the personal, covenant-keeping God of Israel. This isn't a general prayer to the universe. Nope! David is saying, “God, you know me. We got history.” David comes out the gate speaking as someone who has a personal relationship with God. "Yahweh, you're not just God, you’re my God." Refuge means a safe place to run to, like a hiding spot when things get dangerous. David ain’t running to his "status", his "squad", his "mama them", or his weapons. He’s saying: “I ran straight to You, God. You’re where I hide when situations get sticky and there's so much on the line.” This is deep trust. It shows that faith isn’t just belief—it’s action. It’s like saying: “I trust you enough to run to you first, not last.” David is literally being cha...

7/26/25 Good morning 🌞, Friends,  1 Peter 5:7 LSB [7] casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. This scripture is incredibly powerful especially for anyone going through a tough time mentally or emotionally. Whether you're facing a big decision, deep anxiety, stress, overwhelming grief, or just the heaviness of life, this verse offers real hope to face it. Let’s keep it a buck: sometimes the weight we carry feels like too much. Some people are so overwhelmed that they feel the only way out is to give up entirely. But that’s a lie. You are not alone. Even if it feels like you don’t have many people around to talk to or lean on, you absolutely have One, which is God. The Apostle Peter shares a truth in this verse that can really lighten the load of life. He reminds us that we’ve been invited to give all our worries, fears, and pain to God. But even more than that, he tells us why... because God cares for us. That’s not just a distant type of care... not ...

7/25/25 Good morning 🌞, Friends, John 20:29 LSB [29] Jesus *said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are those who did not see, and yet believed.” We all have moments when we just want God to show us a sign, like something we can touch, see, or hear. Thomas, one of Jesus' own disciples, felt the same way. When he got word that the other followers had seen the risen Jesus, Thomas couldn’t believe it. Not until he touched the nail marks in Jesus’ hands. But when Jesus finally pulled up on Thomas and offered that proof, He also spoke a powerful truth for us all: “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Yo, that's US!!!! We weren’t there to see Jesus walk on water, calm the storm, or rise from the dead. But we believe anyway. And Jesus calls us blessed for that. Why? Because trusting in Christ without seeing Him face-to-face takes faith. And faith is powerful. Faith pleases God and carries us through when life throws a curv...

7/23/25 Good morning, Friends,  Ephesians 3:14-19 -[14] For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, [15] from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, [16] that He would give you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, [17] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being firmly rooted and grounded in love, [18 ]may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, [19] and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. When someone says they're "praying for me", I imagine it being like this. A thorough prayer that consists of adoration of God, that God would grant my request by the richness of His glory, adding to my life spiritual strength to endure every opposition and barrier, also that Christ lives in my heart by faith not only by word, that I'm deepl...

7/22/25 Good morning, Friends,  Philippians 4:11-13 LSB [11] Not that I speak from want, for I learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. [12] I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in abundance; in any and all things I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. [13] I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. In today’s world, being content isn’t common. Whether someone is rich or poor, healthy or sick, hungry or full—most people want more. And even when they get more, it usually only makes them happy for a little while. Then that feeling fades, and they start chasing after even more. Always wanting more can leave people feeling stressed out, ungrateful, and unsettled. Let’s be real—life has its highs and lows, twists and turns, just like a roller coaster. And in the middle of all that, it's easy to forget how to just be content. In these verses, the Apostle P...

7 /21/25 Good morning, Beloved,  Romans 8:38-39 - [38] For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, [39] nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Have you ever pondered the depths of God's love? Here in Romans, the Apostle Paul speaks emphatically, stating that he's convinced, fully persuaded that nothing can separate us from God's love. Wow!!! What a statement.  The Apostle searches high and low, looking all over the universe for anything that could possibly come between us and God’s love — and then shows that not a single thing can.  God's love is more powerful than the jaws of life or death.  God's love is more powerful than any angel, fallen angel or any spiritual entity, supernatural power or knowledge God's love is more powerful than the present time and the things that come crashi...

7/16/25 Good morning, Beloved,  Job 38:4-8 -[4] Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you know understanding, [5] Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it? [6] On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone, [7] When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy? [8] “Or who enclosed the sea with doors when, bursting forth, it went out from the womb, To provide context, Job was a rich man who had a beautiful family, seven sons, three daughters, lots of land, and animals. But what made him special is the fact that he loved Yahweh, the Scriptures described Job as 'blameless, upright, fearing Yahweh, and turning away from evil.". In a moment in time, Job lost all his possessions , including his children. Even Jobs's servants who attended to his livestock were murdered (except the one's who notified him of the calamity) and the all his livestock plundered by a surrounding nat...

7/15/25 Good morning, Friends,  John 15:16 -16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would abide, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. What a wonderful truth!  Jesus Messiah is communicating to his disciples a truth so profound that even they don't fully understand its gravity. For clarification purposes, Messiah tells them that "they didn't choose Him, but instead, He chose them". The calling of  God happened before the foundation of the world. It wasn't based upon the future, it was born out of the grace of the Father. The students of Jesus Messiah were chosen, appointed, and instructed.  Chosen = picked out Appointed/Ordained = placed, fixed, established Instructed to bear fruit = that which is produced (by the Holy Spirit) Too often the ego of a person refuses to believe that God can do whatever He wants, in whoever He wants, whenever He wants, in the m...

7/14/25 Good morning, Friends,  Luke 7:44-48 NLT [44] Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Look at this woman kneeling here. When I entered your home, you didn’t offer me water to wash the dust from my feet, but she has washed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair. [45] You didn’t greet me with a kiss, but from the time I first came in, she has not stopped kissing my feet. [46] You neglected the courtesy of olive oil to anoint my head, but she has anointed my feet with rare perfume. [47] “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” [48] Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.” Jesus Messiah was invited to the House of a Pharisee named Simon and when he reclined at the table a woman came in with an alabaster box of ointment and began to kiss and anoint Messiah's feet. Simon knew the woman from around the way. She was a well-kno...

7/12/2025 Good day, Friends,  Isaiah 31:1 -Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very mighty, but they do not have regard for the Holy One of Israel, nor seek Yahweh! God's people were trusting in their alliance with Egypt's resources and weapons of war against their enemies. Their trust was not in Yahweh. The question ❓ is why??? Ask yourself , why would Yahweh's people choose to trust in another nation's defense systems in place of Him? The answer is because refused to repent and turn from their evil ways. Instead of going to getting right with the Creator, they chose to align with someone else in order to secure victory. The fruit of an unrepentant heart is to trust in everything except Yahweh. Interestingly enough, God's people tend to make the mistake today,  trusting in world systems, governments, leaders and alliances, instead of the MIGHTY ONE! You can ask...

7/10/25 Good Day, Friends,  Proverbs 6:6-9 -[6] Go to the ant, O sluggard, Observe her ways and be wise, [7] Which, having no chief, Officer or ruler, [8] Prepares her food in the summer And gathers her provision in the harvest. [9] How long will you lie down, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? Friends, let's consider the ant. An insect so small that we barely even notice it, unless its friends are crawling up the walls of our homes. This proverbs is a protest against "laziness".  The ant teaches us an important lesson. Even though it's small, it stays busy, keeps moving, and carries things much bigger than itself. Ants don’t need a boss or someone telling them what to do—they just get the job done. When you see a bunch of ants running around, it might look like chaos, but they actually know what they're doing. They're working with a purpose, even if no one is giving the orders. This is somewhat of a call to action. Yes, you can rest but don'...

7/9/25 Good morning, Friends,  Jonah 2:1-2 -[1] Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh his God from the stomach of the fish, [2] and he said, “I called out of my distress to Yahweh, And He answered me. I cried for help from the belly of Sheol; You heard my voice. Even in the midst of self -induced tribulation, Yahweh still heard Jonah's prayer. Jonah got himself tangled up in his own rebellion. The consequence was catastrophic and Jonah knew that the ONLY way out of it was accountability ( taking ownership) and submitting  to Yahweh.  Friends, does this sound familiar? Have you ever been at a place in your life where you have got yourself into trouble? Maybe you've been in a place where you have brought on difficulty and it has also affected the people around you. We can learn from this situation in a which Jonah got himself entangled. Disobedience and rebellion will always bring on tough consequences. When Yahweh has given us commands to follow and we choose to do what we want to d...

7/8/25 Good morning, Beloved of God, 1 John 4:9-10 LSB [9] By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. [10] In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. What a total display of love from God to us! We often try to define love in our own terms, based upon our own experience, or on what we've been taught by others through word or action. However, what we see here is God's love IN action. The action of sending His only begotten son into the world so that we can live through him. The elect of God do not live according to their own way; the way of life is lived through Jesus Messiah (Christ).  Love is indeed powerful! But the love of God is Almighty, undefeated, unrestricted, unrivaled, often underappreciated, radical, all encompassing, longsuffering, sacrificial, merciful, graceful, strong, holy, unmatched, and so mu...

7/7/25  Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 7:24-25 -  [24] “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and does them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. [25] And the rain descended, and the rivers came, and the winds blew and fell against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. Those who are wise build on a strong foundation. A foolish person builds on a weak foundation, caring more about what the establishment looks like, instead of ensuring the foundation would stand against all elements.  Friends, Jesus Messiah was instructing the people to understand that by hearing his words and putting them into "action" is the same as being wise builder. A wise builder understands that the rain will fall, storms will come, and opposition will arise,  but they wholeheartedly trust in the foundation built on Jesus to hold it down. There's no fear of the outcome of the storm, no anxiety about the length of the ...

7/5/2025 Good morning, Friends,  Colossians 3:14- Colossians 3:14 LSB [14] Above all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. The Apostle Paul finished encouraging the saints to put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and forgiveness. Then he wraps it up with the statement, "above all these things put on love". Nothing bonds Belelievers together so strong and resilient as love does. Love has this characteristic of powerfully pulling things together in the same direction, which causes those objects to masterfully multiply the source, blossoming into its greatest potential. The greatest potential of "me" is "we".  This is the heart song of born again believers! Check ✔️ it out, we (born-again Believers)will never fit in with this world. We will never cultivate a relationship with this world that mirrors or is likened to the relationship that we have with Christ and each other. Sadly, we can mis...

7/3/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 7:13-14 -[13] “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. [14] For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it. It's easy to follow the path other people are on. There's a such thing called "groupthink", where people tend to follow the direction of the crowd, whether it's in action, thinking, direction, or passions. Jesus Messiah is teaching that wide is the way that leads to destruction. This is a way of the world system, a way that opposes Christ, a way that seeks its own path,  a complete waste of time and energy. This is not a path of Peace, this is not a path Holiness, this is not the path of Almighty God.  Unfortunately, this wide road leads to people finding themselves and discovering their "true self-value". Sounds harmless? NAH, Nope, Negative!!!! This think...

7/2/2025 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew: 6:19-21 -[19] “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. [20] Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. [21] Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. When Jesus spoke about "treasures", he was speaking directly to those who equated wealth with righteousness. These types of persons believed that having more material and financial wealth meant that a person was more righteous than someone who didn't have these things. So, they would accumulate things and in essence, they believed this proved their own value and worth to God. Sounds a lot like what we see today. "Name it and claim it" pulpit theology which empowers people to "get all they can in Jesus name" is a spiritual scam. This is called "bad biblical theology" and "fa...

7/1/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 6:1-2 - [1]“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. [2] When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. Yo! Y'all already know we live in a social media crazed society. The world has taken every opportunity to let everyone know their "every" move.  Exotic dinner? Capture and post. Workout video? Capture and post. Date Night? Capture and post. Emergency room? Capture and post. Giving to those in need? Capture and post.  Now Friends, there's nothing sinful about capturing wonderful moments and sharing them with the world. However, the sin comes when the heart is intent on being admired by others, seeking to please them and show them how generous you are. Motives ...
