7/8/25

Good morning, Beloved of God,

1 John 4:9-10 LSB
[9] By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. [10] In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

What a total display of love from God to us! We often try to define love in our own terms, based upon our own experience, or on what we've been taught by others through word or action. However, what we see here is God's love IN action. The action of sending His only begotten son into the world so that we can live through him. The elect of God do not live according to their own way; the way of life is lived through Jesus Messiah (Christ).

Love is indeed powerful! But the love of God is Almighty, undefeated, unrestricted, unrivaled, often underappreciated, radical, all encompassing, longsuffering, sacrificial, merciful, graceful, strong, holy, unmatched, and so much more!!!!

Doesn't that take the burden off of your shoulders? You are called for a purpose, chosen by love, empowered through sacrifice, the recipient of Peace authored by the father, displayed in the Son, transformed by the Holy Spirit .

This does not mean that we are better than anyone else. This does not establish a hierarchy of humanity. This teaching communicates truth to us and gives us the honor of bearing the image of the Father through His Son, Jesus Messiah.

Don't sleep on this, wake up!
Don't snooze. Get on your feet!
Don't overlook, focus!

Live through the love purposefully given to you!

Maranatha (The Lord is coming)
Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone)

- Grace & Peace

  1. Amen! Jesus is what satisfies the justice of God. Not because we loved Him but because He loved us. Do we even realize how powerful that is.

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.” That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work. Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching b...

9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up 📈, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍🏾 this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water 🌊, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast. Instead of trying to fight 🥊 through it on his own, David cried out to God: “Save me, O God.” That’s the turning point. When we reach the end of ourselves, God is still strong enough to lift us up. Let's keep it 💯 with God. You don’t have to fake it with Him. If you’re struggling, tell Him straight up. He can handle your honest prayers. Depend on Him!! You don’t have to do life alone or in your own strength. God is able to rescue, comfort, and steady you when you feel like you’re going under. If you fee...

8/18/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 3:1-2 -[1]Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, [2]“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” John the Baptist didn’t show up in a three-piece suit with politically correct words. He came rough, raw, and real, and his message was simple: Repent. Not, “say you’re sorry.” Not, “promise to do better.” Repent. Here’s the difference: asking forgiveness is like telling God, “My bad, I messed up.” Repentance goes deeper—it’s a turning of the heart, mind, and direction. It’s when the Spirit of God flips the script in your soul, and you walk a whole new way. Forgiveness is like the judge stamping your record “cleared.” Repentance is like walking out of court and actually living different! It's proof that God’s the one changing you on the inside. Think of it like this: If I keep apologizing for stealing, but I’m still sliding wallets out of pockets tomorrow, nothing’s really changed. Repentan...
