Daily Devotional - August 14, 2025

Good morning, Beloved,

Psalms 53:1 NLT

[1] Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good!

You ever meet somebody who swears up and down, “Man, all that God stuff is fake. I make my own way.”? The Bible doesn’t sugarcoat it, that’s foolish talk 🤡. A fool ain’t just somebody who’s not smart; a fool is somebody who knows deep down that God’s real but still acts like He don’t exist.

The verse says “in their hearts” because it’s not always about what comes out their "mouth". Some people will say "all the time" when you say “God is good,” but then live like He’s not even watching. That’s still saying “There is no God”,  not with words, but with actions.

God calls that corruption. And corruption is like rust on metal. It starts small, but if you don’t deal with it, it eats away at your whole life. That’s why He says “not one of them does good.” Without God, we might do things that look good, but our hearts are still running the streets without Him 🤦🏾‍♂️

Ask yourself... not “Do I believe in God?” but “Am I living like I believe in God?”

Because believing in God means you let Him check you, guide you, and clean you up. Without Him, we all slide toward that corrupt, selfish, do-it-my-way typa clown 🤡 behavior.

Stop blabbing 🦜 on about God and start living like you really believe! 

If the shoe fits, lace them up 👟 and let's get to walking 🚶🏾‍♂️ by faith!
