9/1/25

Good morning, Friends,

Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 -[24] There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and have his soul see good in his labor. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God. [25] For who can eat and who can have enjoyment outside of Him?

Happy Labor Day!

Work is something we all know about. Some of us love what we do, others just do it because the bills don’t stop coming. Some of us work with our hands, some with our minds, some with our hearts. And sometimes it feels like no matter how hard we work, it’s never enough.

That’s exactly what Solomon is talking about. He’s saying, “Look, without God, life is just empty work.” You can make money, build houses, stack up success but if God’s not in it, it won’t satisfy you. But when you see your job, your paycheck, your food, your rest as a "gift straight from God’s hand" that changes everything.
  • God gives you the strength ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพto get up in the morning and do what you do.
  • God puts food ๐Ÿฅ—on your table and breath ๐Ÿซ in your lungs.
  • God gives you the ability to enjoy ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพwhat you worked for.
Think about this: Two people can sit down at the "same" table with the "same" meal ๐Ÿฝ️. One just scarfs it down, already stressed about tomorrow. The other bows their head, thanks ๐Ÿ™๐ŸพGod, and actually enjoys the moment. The difference isn’t the food, it’s God’s hand in it.

So this Labor Day, take a step back. Rest. Enjoy what God has given you. Stop and taste the blessing in the simple things: the food you eat, the roof over your head, the breath in your body, the people around you. That’s not just your hustle, that’s God’s goodness.

Don’t let work run you. Don’t chase joy in the paycheck. Find joy in the God who gave you the ability to work in the first place. Without Him, you’ll always feel empty. With Him, even the small things bring peace.

Check ✅ it : Work hard, rest well, enjoy what God’s given, and remember—it’s all from His hand.

You already know what time ⌚ it is! Tap๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ in!
