Good morning, Beloved of God,

Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.’"

When most people read this verse, they think it means God’s gonna give them their dream job, the perfect house, or an easy life. But that’s not what was happening. God spoke this to Israel when they were banished from their home and now in Babylon—far from home, hurting, and wondering if God had left them. And God says, “I know the plans I have for you.”

Here’s the truth: God’s plan didn’t mean instant rescue. Israel had to wait 70 years before He brought them back. So the promise wasn’t about a quick fix, it was about God being faithful in the long run.

God’s plans may take you through seasons you don’t like, like struggles, loss, or waiting. But His plan is never to destroy you, it’s to redeem you. And if you belong to Christ, your ultimate “future and hope” isn’t just a better tomorrow on earth, it’s eternal life with Him.

So, if you’re going through a rough patch, remember: God hasn’t forgotten you. He knows the plan, even if you don’t.

Ask yourself, are you trusting Him only when life feels good? Or can you trust Him even when you’re in your own “Babylon”?

God’s plan isn’t always easy, but it’s always good, and in Christ, your future is already secure.

God is faithful! Keep the faith, Beloved!

Endure!

  1. I look upon the wonder's that the Lord has created, really paying attention to even the small, that we sometimes take for granted trusting in him, for I was lost and in despair trusting in my own self that I would get it right, but it never happened,it is only when I stop struggling and sat down to open my heart, that I began to hear the Lord speak to me and I surrendered to him,now everyday I am awed at the real love that can only come from him, Praise be to God, Amen
