Good morning, Friends,
Philippians 3:10 - [10] that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
Our world is obsessed with identity. We’re told to define ourselves by what we do, what we achieve, how we look, or what others think. But in Philippians 3:10, Paul points us to a far deeper truth: real identity is found in Christ.
To “know Him” is not just learning facts about Jesus, but entering into a living relationship where His presence changes our desires, our choices, and our daily lives. Paul speaks of the “power of His resurrection”—the same power that raised Jesus now works in us, giving strength to resist sin, courage when we feel weak, and hope when life feels impossible.
Yet Paul also speaks of the “fellowship of His sufferings.” That may sound intimidating, but it means that when following Christ leads to rejection, loss, or hardship, we are not alone. In those very moments, Jesus meets us. Strangely, suffering becomes a place where intimacy with Him grows in ways comfort never could.
Finally, Paul points to being “conformed to His death.” This is about surrender, that means laying down pride, selfish ambition, and control so that Christ’s life can shine more clearly through us. It’s not the easy path, but it is the path that leads to true freedom, lasting joy, and a life that looks more like His.
The challenge is clear: do we only want the blessings of Christ, or are we willing to walk with Him even through suffering and surrender? The encouragement is just as clear: in every step, whether in power, pain, or daily surrender—Christ is with us, shaping us into His likeness and filling us with His life.
Be honest with yourself! Look in the mirror.... what do you see? Are you being shaped by Christ?
Well......You know what time ⌚ it is! Surrender your will, surrender. your heart, surrender your understanding, all for HIS will, heart, and understanding !
