10/1/25

Good morning, Beloved,

Proverbs 11:25 - [25} A generous soul will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.

This verse flips the way most of us think. In the world, people believe if you give too much, you’ll be left with nothing. But God’s Word says the opposite, when you pour into others, God makes sure you don’t run dry. Think of it like this: when you keep all the water to yourself, it gets stagnant; but when you pour it out to refresh others, God keeps refilling your bucket.

Maybe you’ve had those days where money was tight, but you still bought a meal for someone who was hungry. Or maybe you took time to check in on a friend even when you were dealing with your own mess. Somehow, God turned around and blessed you. He could've blessed you with unexpected help, unexpected joy, or strength you didn’t know you had. That’s the principle of this verse in action: when you give, God gives back.

Are you holding onto everything, like, your time, your money, your encouragement, because you’re afraid you won’t have enough left? Or do you trust that God will take care of you when you take care of others?

Listen Friends, God’s math is different from ours. Every time you give in His name, He’s already making a way to give back to you. Now, check it, it will not always be in cash, or physical resources, but it may be in peace, joy, relationships, or spiritual strength. Don't miss the point of giving to others and certainly don't overlook the various avenues God replenishes his people.

Living generously is risky if your hope is in yourself. But if your hope is in Christ, you can let go and trust that He’ll supply everything you need. The question is—are you willing to be the one who waters, or are you always waiting to be watered?

Think on these things!
