10/3/25

Good morning, Friends,

Romans 15:13 - [13] - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Paul calls God “the God of hope” because real hope don’t come from your situation, your bank account, or people around you—it comes straight from Him. Catch this: God fills us with joy and peace as we believe. That means hope ain’t just crossing your fingers or telling yourself, “It’s gonna work out.” Nah, real hope is what shows up when you trust Christ. And it ain’t a tiny dose either. Paul says it overflows like a cup running over, because the Holy Spirit is the One filling you up.

Think about someone going through a tough time, maybe losing a job, health struggles, or family drama. From the outside, people expect them to fall apart. But instead, they carry a steady joy and calm peace, even when life doesn’t make sense. That’s not fake positivity, that’s hope powered by the Holy Spirit. It’s like an anchor ⚓️ that keeps them steady when the waves 🌊 are crashing.

What are you really leaning on for hope? If those things collapse, does your hope collapse too?

When you look at His resume, you understand that God doesn’t give hope in small doses. He pours it out so much that it can spill into the lives of people around you. When you trust Him, He gives peace in chaos and joy even in sorrow.

Faith gives hope something to work with! . It means surrendering control and letting the Holy Spirit remind you of God’s promises, even when your situation looks impossible. The challenge is this, are you letting God fill you daily, or are you running on empty by trying to do it yourself?

The God of hope doesn’t just want you to survive, He wants you to overflow with joy, peace, and hope in Christ, no matter what you face.

You know what time ⏰ it is!
