10/8/25

Good morning, Friends,

Daniel 3:17-18 - [17] If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. [18] But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods and we will not worship the golden image that you have set up.

Imagine this: you’ve worked hard for an opportunity you really wanted a job, a college spot, or maybe a medical result you’ve been praying would come back clear. You did everything right. You trusted God. But then… it doesn’t happen. The door closes. The test is positive. The prayer seems unanswered.

It’s in those moments that faith stops being just something we say but it becomes real. That’s where we find Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in front of a furious king, with a blazing furnace waiting if they refuse to bow. And yet, their answer is breathtaking: “Our God is able to deliver us… but even if He does not…”

This is not weak faith, it’s mature faith. They didn’t just believe in God’s power; they trusted His wisdom. They knew He could save them, but they also trusted Him if He chose not to. That’s a rare and costly kind of trust.

Too often, we measure God’s goodness by what He gives or withholds. But “even if” faith says, “My loyalty isn’t for sale. My worship isn’t conditional.” It’s the kind of faith that refuses to bow, to fear, to compromise, or to the pressure of the world.

What’s your “furnace” today, the situation that’s testing your faith?
Ask yourself: If God doesn’t move the way I hope, will I still trust Him?

Let's have faith that prays:  “Lord, You are able to deliver me, but even if You do not, I will still follow You.”

That prayer might just change your perspective, and your peace.

Remember Friends, the same God who stood with those three men in the fire still stands with you in yours. You might not avoid the flames, but you will never face them alone. And when you come out on the other side, not even the smell of smoke will cling to you.

You know what time ⏰ it is!

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.” That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work. Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching b...

8/18/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 3:1-2 -[1]Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, [2]“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” John the Baptist didn’t show up in a three-piece suit with politically correct words. He came rough, raw, and real, and his message was simple: Repent. Not, “say you’re sorry.” Not, “promise to do better.” Repent. Here’s the difference: asking forgiveness is like telling God, “My bad, I messed up.” Repentance goes deeper—it’s a turning of the heart, mind, and direction. It’s when the Spirit of God flips the script in your soul, and you walk a whole new way. Forgiveness is like the judge stamping your record “cleared.” Repentance is like walking out of court and actually living different! It's proof that God’s the one changing you on the inside. Think of it like this: If I keep apologizing for stealing, but I’m still sliding wallets out of pockets tomorrow, nothing’s really changed. Repentan...

9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up 📈, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍🏾 this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water 🌊, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast. Instead of trying to fight 🥊 through it on his own, David cried out to God: “Save me, O God.” That’s the turning point. When we reach the end of ourselves, God is still strong enough to lift us up. Let's keep it 💯 with God. You don’t have to fake it with Him. If you’re struggling, tell Him straight up. He can handle your honest prayers. Depend on Him!! You don’t have to do life alone or in your own strength. God is able to rescue, comfort, and steady you when you feel like you’re going under. If you fee...
