Good morning, Friends,

Romans 12:17 -Never paying back evil for evil to anyone, respecting what is good in the sight of all men,

This is the perfect day to let the "payback" spirit go! All of us have experienced times of hurt, pain, betrayal, disappointment, and treachery at the hands of someone else. We survived the plot, scheme, and plan of those who wanted to harm us or even by those who didn't intend to harm us. Nevertheless, we still felt the sting of it ,and consequently the difficult process of healing afterwards. Those feelings are valid, they are real, and yes, the situation occurred. This verse doesn't overlook the truth of matter or render the trauma obsolete.  It deals with the trauma directly. The Apostle Paul is commanding believers to "never" pay back evil with evil to "anyone". Not to hide the hurt but don't react with the same evil intent. Don't use that emotion to plot, scheme, and plan traps to engulf the flames of your revenge.

Just a wait a minute, let that sit!!!! Can you feel that?? That's heavy. And it's humanly impossible in our own strength to carry out! ,It's only possible by complete surrender to God's Word. Emotion doesn't drive us, we live by Scripture, empowered only by the Holy Spirit within us.

Furthermore, God says that vengeance is His, not ours. Providential justice, grace, and mercy are in God's hand. That's His business, not ours. Our business is to by faith operate as He commanded.

Let's keep it 💯 ... this is a hard truth to live with. Just sitting anxiously on the sidelines waiting for God to do what we want him to do to the people who hurt us ⏰ . Check it out, the spiritual reality is this, We Don't Sit and Wait!  We trust God! When we trust God, we humbly give him every emotion that riddles us, claws at us, and lovingly offer it to Him as our burden-bearer, heart-restorer, emotion-keeper, grief-consoler. We give up our pride, which tries to captain the ship, and surrender even our deepest, darkest emotions to him.

Friends, He knows what's best for us! He can heal what's broken in you. He can restore what was crushed in you. He can transform the rage, anger, and pain into a beautiful fortress of strength, mercy, and grace.

You know what time ⏰ it is!!! Lock 🔒 in!

  1. Amen. I needed this because it already happened today & I did have to surrender it to God. Unjust is real but not our battle to fight. I passed the test.

Devotional Reading - December 16, 2025

12/16/25 Good morning, Friends,  Acts 4:12 - [12] And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. BOLDNESS! In the chapter before this, Peter heals a man who had been disabled his whole life. The crowd is amazed. Everyone’s staring at Peter and John like they’re the heroes. But Peter shuts all that down immediately. He tells them straight up: “This wasn’t us. This was God working through Jesus Christ.” Peter refuses the spotlight and points all the credit where it belongs. That’s the same bold truth behind this verse, Jesus Christ alone saves. No exceptions. No substitutes. No backup plans. Peter is standing in front of religious leaders who believed they were right with God because of rules, traditions, and family history. And Peter doesn’t sugarcoat it. He tells them clearly: none of that saves you. Not religion. Not good behavior. Not being sincere. Not choosing another spiritual lane. Only J...

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.” That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work. Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching b...

9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up 📈, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍🏾 this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water 🌊, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast. Instead of trying to fight 🥊 through it on his own, David cried out to God: “Save me, O God.” That’s the turning point. When we reach the end of ourselves, God is still strong enough to lift us up. Let's keep it 💯 with God. You don’t have to fake it with Him. If you’re struggling, tell Him straight up. He can handle your honest prayers. Depend on Him!! You don’t have to do life alone or in your own strength. God is able to rescue, comfort, and steady you when you feel like you’re going under. If you fee...
