Devotional Reading - February 10, 2026

2/10/26

Good morning, Friends,

2 Corinthians 5:11 - Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others. God knows we are sincere, and I hope you know this, too.

Paul is saying, “I know who God really is, and I know I’m going to stand before Him one day, so I can’t play around with life.” The fear of the Lord isn’t being scared God is out to get you. It’s knowing God is real, holy, and not to be taken lightly. When you know that, it changes how you move, how you talk, and what you stand on. Paul isn’t living reckless or fake, he’s living aware.

This hits home because most of us know what it’s like to live on alert. You watch your back, you read the room, you know the consequences of not being aware of your surroundings. Paul is saying, “Life with God is like that, but on a much deeper level.” God sees everything. Nothing is hidden. No mask, no image, no pretending. And that should challenge us, because a lot of us learned how to survive by keeping things tucked away. But God already knows, and He’s not fooled.

What’s powerful is that Paul doesn’t say, “Knowing the fear of the Lord, we judge people.” He says, “we persuade men.” That means he talks to people with purpose, with his whole being, intentional, like a man on a mission. He pleads with people. He reaches to the places people are scared to go, the people that are more challenging to talk to. And when he gets the opportunity to share Christ, He doesn’t flex on the people, he genuinely cares about where they’ll end up. When you really understand God’s holiness and God’s grace, you don’t look down on people. You want them free. You want them saved. You want them to know Jesus; there’s more to life than just surviving day to day. Eternity is at stake! 💯

Real talk, this verse pushes us to check ☑️ ourselves. Are we living like God’s opinion actually matters? Do we stay quiet about God's Word because we're scared or do we speak up because lives are on the line? The fear of the Lord isn’t meant to scare you into hiding, it’s meant to wake you up and send you out. When you know who God is, you stop playing small, stop pretending, and start living in obedience, with purpose, truth, and courage.

Challenge: Share Christ with someone TODAY!!! (Not with yourself in the mirror, with REAL people 👀😉)

You know what time ⏰ it is!!!

Devotional Reading - December 16, 2025

12/16/25 Good morning, Friends,  Acts 4:12 - [12] And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. BOLDNESS! In the chapter before this, Peter heals a man who had been disabled his whole life. The crowd is amazed. Everyone’s staring at Peter and John like they’re the heroes. But Peter shuts all that down immediately. He tells them straight up: “This wasn’t us. This was God working through Jesus Christ.” Peter refuses the spotlight and points all the credit where it belongs. That’s the same bold truth behind this verse, Jesus Christ alone saves. No exceptions. No substitutes. No backup plans. Peter is standing in front of religious leaders who believed they were right with God because of rules, traditions, and family history. And Peter doesn’t sugarcoat it. He tells them clearly: none of that saves you. Not religion. Not good behavior. Not being sincere. Not choosing another spiritual lane. Only J...

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🤫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.” That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work. Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching b...

9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up 📈, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍🏾 this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water 🌊, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast. Instead of trying to fight 🥊 through it on his own, David cried out to God: “Save me, O God.” That’s the turning point. When we reach the end of ourselves, God is still strong enough to lift us up. Let's keep it 💯 with God. You don’t have to fake it with Him. If you’re struggling, tell Him straight up. He can handle your honest prayers. Depend on Him!! You don’t have to do life alone or in your own strength. God is able to rescue, comfort, and steady you when you feel like you’re going under. If you fee...
