The Daily Plug: "Keep The Faith!"

Keep The Faith by Tina LeCour

October 21, 2026

Good morning, Friends,

Jeremiah 8:15 - We hoped for peace, but no peace came. We hoped for a time of healing, but found only terror.

Sometimes life gets discouraging. Some days you feel like throwing in the towel. Other days, you wonder what's the point of believing when everything around you seems to be falling apart.

In Jeremiah 8:15, Judah wanted peace and healing, but refused to repent and turn from their rebellion against God.

They wanted God to change their situation, but they weren't willing to change their ways!

Yo, if we're not careful, we can fall into that same trap. It's a slippery slope. We can't allow disappointment to turn into doubt, doubt into unbelief, and unbelief into rebellion.

Family, don't let your discouragement become an excuse for disobedience!

When all hell breaks loose, KEEP THE FAITH!

When the medical report breaks your heart, KEEP THE FAITH!

When people betray you, KEEP THE FAITH!

When you fall into sin, REPENT AND KEEP THE FAITH!

When life hurts and nothing makes sense, KEEP THE FAITH!

Check it out, keeping the faith doesn't mean pretending everything is okay, aint no fakeness over here. It means trusting Christ, turning from sin, and obeying His Word even when life isn't going your way. You don't get a pass because your're struggling.

You may be discouraged, but don't become disobedient. You may be disappointed, but don't become rebellious. And you may not understand what God is doing, but don't stop trusting Him!

Don't keep allowing your circumstances to pull you away from the very God you need to cling to.

Don't fold under pressure. Don't make excuses for your sin. REPENT, TRUST GOD, AND KEEP THE FAITH!

“Help my unbelief!” — Mark 9:24 (LSB)

You know what time ⏰ it is!!!

  1. Keep the FAITH no matter what comes before us! The book of Isaiah 40:31 - But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (kjv)

  6. Hi, I loved how you faced Jeremiah 8:15 head-on: Judah wanted peace and healing without repenting, and your warning not to let discouragement become an excuse for disobedience really hit home. The repeated 'KEEP THE FAITH!' — when the medical report breaks your heart, when people betray you, when life hurts and nothing makes sense — is exactly the kind of honest encouragement that keeps us clinging to God instead of folding under pressure. Devotional Reading - December 16, 2025

12/16/25 Good morning, Friends,  Acts 4:12 - [12] And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. BOLDNESS! In the chapter before this, Peter heals a man who had been disabled his whole life. The crowd is amazed. Everyone’s staring at Peter and John like they’re the heroes. But Peter shuts all that down immediately. He tells them straight up: “This wasn’t us. This was God working through Jesus Christ.” Peter refuses the spotlight and points all the credit where it belongs. That’s the same bold truth behind this verse, Jesus Christ alone saves. No exceptions. No substitutes. No backup plans. Peter is standing in front of religious leaders who believed they were right with God because of rules, traditions, and family history. And Peter doesn’t sugarcoat it. He tells them clearly: none of that saves you. Not religion. Not good behavior. Not being sincere. Not choosing another spiritual lane. Only J...

Devotional Reading - January 1, 2026

01/01/26 Happy new year and O' happy day! Good morning, Friends,  Luke 17:5 - And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith! In this passage Jesus was teaching His disciples about forgiveness, not the easy kind, but the kind that keeps forgiving even when it’s hard, frustrating, and painful. He was calling them to be patient and long-suffering with people who mess up again and again. The disciples realized real quick that they didn't have enough faith to carry this out on their own. They could've complained, threw a tantrum, got an attitude with Jesus, but the radical part about it is they didn't act fake or make excuses. They went straight to Jesus and said, “Increase our faith.” That’s a powerful moment right there! The disciples understood that following Jesus isn’t just about trying harder. Sometimes it’s about admitting, “Lord, I don’t have what this requires.” They saw a spiritual gap in themselves and knew only Jesus could fill it. Check it out, incr...

Daily Devotional - December 5, 2025

12/5/25 Good morning, Friends,  Hebrews 11:13-16 -13 [13] All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. [14] Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. [15] If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. [16] But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. These verses talk about people in the Bible who trusted God but never got to see all His promises come true while they were alive. Abraham didn’t see the whole nation God promised. Moses never stepped foot in the Promised Land. They believed, even when they didn’t get the results they hoped for. That’s real faith, trusting God not because life works out, but be...
