The Daily Plug: "Wait, Don't Rush; Just Chill"

Psalm 37:7 - Be still and wait patiently in Yahweh; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out schemes of wickedness.

We live in a society where "rushing" is king. Everybody wants everything fast. Fast money, fast success, fast relationships, and even fast blessings. We've become so used to getting things quickly that sometimes we forget that beauty in waiting on God.

We pray today and expect answers tomorrow. I get it, we see other people getting ahead while we're still waiting, and before you can bat your eyelids, we're bombarding God with all these questions, like "why about me? when is it gonna be my turn?" But check this out, just because somebody else is moving faster, doesn't mean you're falling behind! Yup, you heard that right!

Remember, God's timing is perfect and waiting on God is a flex, it's growth, it's a spiritual discipline, and it teaches us the beauty of trust, dependence, and grace. This helps us move at God's pace, not our own.

Spiritual maturity is a process that understands that every opportunity isn't an assignment, every open door isn't from God, and every delay isn't a denial.

Galatians 5:25 reminds us to walk in step with the Holy Spirit. In other words, stop trying to make God keep up with you, and learn how to keep in step with Him!

Let's slow down long enough to pray, study His Word, and enjoy His presence.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is slow down, be still, and strust God with what you can't control!

Stop rushing. Start trusting. Let the Holy Spirit set the pace!

You know what time ⏰ it is!!!

Devotional Reading - December 16, 2025

12/16/25 Good morning, Friends,  Acts 4:12 - [12] And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. BOLDNESS! In the chapter before this, Peter heals a man who had been disabled his whole life. The crowd is amazed. Everyone’s staring at Peter and John like they’re the heroes. But Peter shuts all that down immediately. He tells them straight up: “This wasn’t us. This was God working through Jesus Christ.” Peter refuses the spotlight and points all the credit where it belongs. That’s the same bold truth behind this verse, Jesus Christ alone saves. No exceptions. No substitutes. No backup plans. Peter is standing in front of religious leaders who believed they were right with God because of rules, traditions, and family history. And Peter doesn’t sugarcoat it. He tells them clearly: none of that saves you. Not religion. Not good behavior. Not being sincere. Not choosing another spiritual lane. Only J...

Devotional Reading - January 1, 2026

01/01/26 Happy new year and O' happy day! Good morning, Friends,  Luke 17:5 - And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith! In this passage Jesus was teaching His disciples about forgiveness, not the easy kind, but the kind that keeps forgiving even when it’s hard, frustrating, and painful. He was calling them to be patient and long-suffering with people who mess up again and again. The disciples realized real quick that they didn't have enough faith to carry this out on their own. They could've complained, threw a tantrum, got an attitude with Jesus, but the radical part about it is they didn't act fake or make excuses. They went straight to Jesus and said, “Increase our faith.” That’s a powerful moment right there! The disciples understood that following Jesus isn’t just about trying harder. Sometimes it’s about admitting, “Lord, I don’t have what this requires.” They saw a spiritual gap in themselves and knew only Jesus could fill it. Check it out, incr...

Daily Devotional - December 5, 2025

12/5/25 Good morning, Friends,  Hebrews 11:13-16 -13 [13] All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. [14] Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own. [15] If they had longed for the country they came from, they could have gone back. [16] But they were looking for a better place, a heavenly homeland. That is why God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. These verses talk about people in the Bible who trusted God but never got to see all His promises come true while they were alive. Abraham didn’t see the whole nation God promised. Moses never stepped foot in the Promised Land. They believed, even when they didn’t get the results they hoped for. That’s real faith, trusting God not because life works out, but be...
