9/29/25 Good morning, Friends, 1 John 4:20 LSB - [20] If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. This verse cuts deep. It’s easy to talk big about loving God, but the real proof shows up in how we treat people, our family, our neighbors, even the people who get on our nerves. Anybody can raise their hands in church or say the right words, but if we’re holding grudges, throwing shade, or carrying hate in our hearts, we’re not living the love we claim.  God’s saying πŸ—£️: don’t just talk about love—walk it out. And here’s the good news: when we choose to love people, even the hard-to-love ones, it shows that God is really working in us. Love is the evidence . So today, check your heartπŸ’š, who do you need to forgive, who do you need to show kindness to? Loving them isn’t just about them, it’s your way of showing God you mean what you say‼️ Signing out! ✌🏾  Yo...

9/26/25 Good morning, Friends,  Psalm 23:3 LSB - [3] He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. God brings my heart and mind back to life when I’m worn down. He puts me back on the right track, not because I’ve earned it, but because His name and character guarantee it. Life has a way of draining us. Stress, guilt, busyness, or disappointment can leave us feeling empty and off course. But this verse reminds us that God is not just a passive observer, He is the One who restores. “Restores” here doesn’t just mean a quick pick-me-up. It means to return something to its original strength and purpose. God takes the weary parts of you and breathes new strength into them. And notice: He guides. You don’t have to figure out life’s direction on your own. He leads you into “paths of righteousness”, the kind of life that aligns with His will and brings peace to your soul. And why? “For His name’s sake.” That means His faithfulness to you i...

9/25/25 Good morning, Friends, Philippians 3:10 - [10] that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, Our world is obsessed with identity. We’re told to define ourselves by what we do, what we achieve, how we look, or what others think. But in Philippians 3:10, Paul points us to a far deeper truth: real identity is found in Christ. To “know Him” is not just learning facts about Jesus, but entering into a living relationship where His presence changes our desires, our choices, and our daily lives. Paul speaks of the “power of His resurrection”—the same power that raised Jesus now works in us, giving strength to resist sin, courage when we feel weak, and hope when life feels impossible. Yet Paul also speaks of the “fellowship of His sufferings.” That may sound intimidating, but it means that when following Christ leads to rejection, loss, or hardship, we are not alone. In those very moments, Jesus meets us. Strang...

9/24/25 Good morning, Friends, Proverbs 16:18 - Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before stumbling. When we let pride run our lives, it's basically us thinking too highly of ourselves or the believing that we don’t need correction. But with this mentality, we’re setting ourselves up for a painful fall. Pride blinds us to danger, makes us careless, and leaves us vulnerable. Humility, on the other hand, keeps us steady and teachable. (1) Where in my life do I ignore wise counsel because I think I know better? (2) Do I take quiet pride in anything more than in God’s grace? Imagine walking into a room where the doorway is so low you have to bend down just to get inside. That’s a picture of humility. Now think about your heart—what if it had a “low door” too? What if every time God came near, you bowed low enough to let Him enter first? Living with a low door means there’s no room for pride, no standing tall in our own way. It means making space for God to ...

9/22/25 Good Day, Friends,  Romans 8:37 - But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. Brother Paul just got done reminding us in Romans 8 that God’s been running the show from the jump: He picked us before we were born. He called us to Himself. He forgave us through Jesus. And He promises to bring us all the way to glory. Now Paul says: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” He’s not saying we don’t have problems or enemies. He’s saying none of the opposition can beat God’s plan. This verse is about security. If the God who runs the universe already locked in your salvation, what can anyone—or anything—really do to cancel it? Nothing. Life comes hard sometimes, but none of that means God ain’t for you. If you’re in Christ, He’s always on your side. Think about it: The God who spoke the world into existence is for you. The God who sent His Son to die for your sins is for you. The God who raised Jesus from the dead is for you. That means nothing yo...

9/20/25 Good morning, Friends, Lamentations 3:40-42 LSB [40] ¶Let us search out and examine our ways, And let us return to Yahweh. [41] We lift up our heart to our hands Toward God in heaven; [42] We have transgressed and rebelled; You have not pardoned. The book of Lamentations was written in a season of pain. God’s people had lost their city, their homes, and their sense of safety. The prophet Jeremiah looked around at the ruins of Jerusalem and realized: this didn’t happen by accident. The people had turned away from God, ignored His commands, and now they were living with the fallout. In verses 40–42, Jeremiah calls the people to look in the mirror. He says, “Let’s check ourselves. Let’s be real about where we’ve gone wrong.” Notice he doesn’t just blame the enemy or the system. He says, “We have sinned.” That’s hard truth. But it’s also hopeful truth. Because when you know what’s broken, you can start fixing it. “Search out and examine our ways” → That means doing an ...

9/18/25 Good morning, Beloved of God,  Jeremiah 29:11 -  For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope.’" When most people read this verse, they think it means God’s gonna give them their dream job, the perfect house, or an easy life. But that’s not what was happening. God spoke this to Israel when they were banished from their home and now in Babylon—far from home, hurting, and wondering if God had left them. And God says, “I know the plans I have for you.” Here’s the truth: God’s plan didn’t mean instant rescue. Israel had to wait 70 years before He brought them back. So the promise wasn’t about a quick fix, it was about God being faithful in the long run. God’s plans may take you through seasons you don’t like, like struggles, loss, or waiting. But His plan is never to destroy you, it’s to redeem you. And if you belong to Christ, your ultimate “future and hope” isn’t just a better tomorr...

9/17/25 Good morning, Friends,  Luke 7:12-14 -12 A funeral procession was coming out as he approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow’s only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart overflowed with compassion . “Don’t cry!” he said. 14 Then he walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” he said, “I tell you, get up.” Picture the scene: a mom walking behind her son’s coffin, heartbroken, surrounded by people mourning. She’s already lost her husband, now her only son. She has nothing left. And right in the middle of all that pain, Jesus steps in. He doesn’t avoid it. He doesn’t just give nice words. His heart overflows with compassion , and He moves toward her brokenness. That’s what love looks like. That’s what Christlikeness is. Real compassion doesn’t just feel bad for someone, it steps in, it touches the need, it brings life where there’s death. That’s the blueprint for u...

9/12/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 10:19 -19 When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who holds back his lips has insight. We’ve all been there—talked too much, said the wrong thing, or made a situation worse by adding words we didn’t need to. Sometimes our mouths πŸ—£️ run faster πŸ’¨ than our brains 🧠, and before we know it, damage is done. This proverb reminds us: too many words usually lead to trouble. Wisdom knows when to stay quiet. Think about it: Arguments that drag on only get more heated. Oversharing can turn people against you. Running your mouth in the wrong place can cost you relationships, respect, or even opportunities. But the person who holds back from "yapping", who knows when to listen πŸ‘‚πŸΎ  when to observe πŸ‘€, when to stay silent πŸ”•, now that’s a person with real insight. Silence can be strength πŸ’ͺ🏾. Patience can be wisdom. Where are you speaking too quickly or too much? Is it in arguments, gossip, social media, or defending your...

9/11/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 John 4:18-19 LSB [18] There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. [19] We love, because He first loved us. Fear and love don’t live in the same house. Fear says, “God’s gonna get me if I mess up.” But God’s love says, “Jesus already took that punishment for you on the cross.” If you belong to Christ, you don’t have to walk around scared of God dropping the hammer—you’re already covered by His grace. God’s love came first. He chose you before you ever thought about Him. He ran after you when you were running the other way. That kind of love doesn’t just chase fear out the door, it changes the way you live . Now you obey, not because you’re scared of punishment, but because you’re grateful, because you’re loved, because you’re free. Ask yourself: Am I serving God out of fear or out of love? Where in your life are you still letting fear call the shots? Giv...

9/10/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 69:1 LSB [1] Save me, O God, For the waters have threatened my life. Have you ever felt like life was drowning you? Like problems kept piling up πŸ“ˆ, bills, stress, health, relationships, and no matter how hard you tried, you just couldn’t keep your head above water? That’s exactly how David felt when he wrote ✍🏾 this verse. He wasn’t talking about actual water 🌊, he was describing the feeling of being overwhelmed and sinking fast. Instead of trying to fight πŸ₯Š through it on his own, David cried out to God: “Save me, O God.” That’s the turning point. When we reach the end of ourselves, God is still strong enough to lift us up. Let's keep it πŸ’― with God. You don’t have to fake it with Him. If you’re struggling, tell Him straight up. He can handle your honest prayers. Depend on Him!! You don’t have to do life alone or in your own strength. God is able to rescue, comfort, and steady you when you feel like you’re going under. If you fee...

9/3/25 Good morning, Beloved of God,  James 5:16 NLT [16] Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James isn’t just throwing out a nice "church saying" I'm this verse, he’s calling us to something real, something authentic. We live in a world that tells us to keep our business private, put on a strong face, and handle things ourselves. But God flips that: healing flows through humility. Confession isn’t about giving people ammunition to destroy or hurt you, it’s about dragging your sin into the light where it loses power. When you open up to a brother or sister in Christ, you’re saying, “I need God’s grace, and I need your help.” That’s NOT weakness. That’s the strength of the gospel working in real life. Prayer, too, isn’t just some bland, lifeless ritual. James says it’s powerful. The “righteous man” here isn’t the guy who’s pe...

9/1/25   Good morning, Friends,  Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 -[24] There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and have his soul see good in his labor. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God. [25] For who can eat and who can have enjoyment outside of Him? Happy Labor Day! Work is something we all know about. Some of us love what we do, others just do it because the bills don’t stop coming. Some of us work with our hands, some with our minds, some with our hearts. And sometimes it feels like no matter how hard we work, it’s never enough. That’s exactly what Solomon is talking about. He’s saying, “Look, without God, life is just empty work.” You can make money, build houses, stack up success but if God’s not in it, it won’t satisfy you. But when you see your job, your paycheck, your food, your rest as a "gift straight from God’s hand" that changes everything . God gives you the strength πŸ’ͺ🏾to get up in the morning and do what you do. God puts food πŸ₯—on ...
