8/27/25 Good morning, Beloved of God,  Psalm 90:1–2  [1] Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. [2] Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. When Moses prayed these words, he was reminding the people that God isn't some new phenomenon. Before the city was built, the nation was formed, the neighborhood became what it is now, even before your grandma’s grandma even thought about being here, God already was. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. We live in a world 🌎 where things change fast, stores close, people move, friendships fall apart, and sometimes even our own plans collapse in the blink of an eye πŸ‘️. But check this: God has ALWAYS been steady. He’s the “dwelling place”, the safe house, the shelter, the spot where you can crash and know you’re covered. You can’t always trust the system, the homies, or even your own strength. But God’s been holdin...

8/27/25 Good morning, Friends,  Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 [9] Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. [10] If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.  Life can feel like a grind! Sometimes we're carrying weight πŸ‹πŸΎ‍♂️that nobody else sees. It’s easy to think, “I got this. I don’t need anybody.” But the truth is, God didn’t design us to do life solo. Two are better than one. That means teamwork beats lone-wolf energy every time. If you fall, and we all fall, you need someone who can pick you up, speak life into you, remind you who you are when you forget. Rolling by yourself might feel safe, but it’s also risky. Because when you trip, who’s there to grab your hand? This scripture is God’s reminder: don’t just grind for yourself, find your people. Link πŸ”— with someone who’s going the same direction, who believes what you believe, who’ll push you higher when you’re slipping...

8/25/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Corinthians 13:4-5 - [4] Love is patient, love is kind, is not jealous, does not brag, is not puffed up; [5] it does not act unbecomingly, does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered; Let’s keep it a buck, love is more than just saying “I love you.” Paul lays it out like this: Love has receipts. It shows up in patience, kindness, humility, and forgiveness. In the world we’re quick to clap back when someone disrespects us. We tend to keep score, "You fooled me once, but you won't ever again". But God’s Word flips that. Real love doesn’t keep a tally of wrongs. It doesn’t blow up every time someone tests you. It’s not about flexing or getting the upper hand. The kind of love the Scriptures speak about ain’t natural to us. When we're left to ourselves, we’re jealous, proud, self-seeking, quick to snap. But this chapter isn’t just Paul saying “try harder.” He’s describing Christ Himself. Jesus is...

8/21/25 Good morning, Friends,  1 Thessalonians 4:11 -11 and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet 🀫 life and attend to your own business and work with your hands, just as we commanded you, Everybody these days wants to shine. Social media has people chasing likes, clout, and attention, trying to be seen instead of just being faithful. But the Word of God cuts through all that noise: “Lead a quiet life. Mind your business. Work with your hands.” That’s not flashy. That won’t go viral. But that’s the grind God respects. See, real strength isn’t in being loud, it’s in being steady. Paul’s saying, stop being thirsty for the spotlight, stop running your mouth in other people’s affairs, and stop leaning on folks when you could be putting in your own work. Truth is, mooching off others while you got the ability to grind is lazy, and laziness is sin. God gave you gifts, skills, and breath in your lungs so use them. Don’t be that person always asking but never giving, always watching b...

8/20/25 Good morning morning 🌞, Beloved of God,  Psalm 92:1-2 - [1] It is good to give thanks to Yahweh And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; [2] To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night, No matter what we may be experiencing or dealing with the psalmist reminds us that it’s always good to thank God. Not just when things feel right, but because He is always right. Think πŸ’¬ about it: God’s mercy meets you in the morning. That’s why you woke up. You didn’t breathe 🌬️ on your own, He breathed on you. And when night falls, you can look back and say, “God held me down today. He was faithful even when I slipped, even when I doubted, even when I didn’t notice Him.” This is more than Sunday praise πŸ™ŒπŸΎ. This is daily life. Gratitude changes your vision. When you wake up thanking God, you step into the day remembering you’re not alone. And when you go to bed, you lay down knowing His track record is perfect, HE NEVER FAILS! But here’s the chal...

8/18/25 Good morning, Friends,  Matthew 3:1-2 -[1]Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, [2]“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” John the Baptist didn’t show up in a three-piece suit with politically correct words. He came rough, raw, and real, and his message was simple: Repent. Not, “say you’re sorry.” Not, “promise to do better.” Repent. Here’s the difference: asking forgiveness is like telling God, “My bad, I messed up.” Repentance goes deeper—it’s a turning of the heart, mind, and direction. It’s when the Spirit of God flips the script in your soul, and you walk a whole new way. Forgiveness is like the judge stamping your record “cleared.” Repentance is like walking out of court and actually living different! It's proof that God’s the one changing you on the inside. Think of it like this: If I keep apologizing for stealing, but I’m still sliding wallets out of pockets tomorrow, nothing’s really changed. Repentan...

8/16/25 Good morning, Friends,  2 Kings 6:16-17 NLT [16] “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” [17] Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire. Elisha’s servant was shook, he was panicking because the enemy army had surrounded them. To him, it looked like game over. But Elisha told him, “Don’t trip, don’t be afraid. We got more on our side than they got on theirs.” Then he prayed, “Lord, open his eyes.” And boom πŸ’₯ when God opened the young man’s eyes πŸ‘€, he saw the hills full of heavenly firepower πŸ”₯ an army you can’t see with the natural eye. Sometimes what you see in the natural is lying to you. Bills stacked up, stress piling, enemies pressing. It feels like you’re outnumbered, but that’s because you’re only looking with your human eyes. If God opened your spir...

8/15/25 Good morning, Friends, Psalm 61:2 (AMP) -From the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help]. Sometimes life hits you so hard you feel like you’re way out in the wilderness. You feel like nobody sees you, nobody hears you, and you’re just barely hanging on. David was in that place when he wrote this. He wasn’t chilling in the palace; he was worn out, far from home, and probably wondering if God still had His eyes on him. He says, "When my heart is overwhelmed…". That’s Bible talk for, "God, I’m running on empty." Have you ever been there? Your body’s moving, but your spirit’s dragging like it’s got weights on it. Bills stacking, relationships stressing, enemies pressing, maaaaaaaan, life will make your heart overwhelmed real quick. But here’s the key: David doesn’t just collapse where he is. He says, "Lead me to the rock that is hig...

8/14/25 Good morning, Beloved, Psalms 53:1 NLT [1] Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good! You ever meet somebody who swears up and down, “Man, all that God stuff is fake. I make my own way.”? The Bible doesn’t sugarcoat it, that’s foolish talk 🀑. A fool ain’t just somebody who’s not smart; a fool is somebody who knows deep down that God’s real but still acts like He don’t exist. The verse says “in their hearts” because it’s not always about what comes out their "mouth". Some people will say "all the time" when you say “God is good,” but then live like He’s not even watching. That’s still saying “There is no God”,  not with words, but with actions . God calls that corruption. And corruption is like rust on metal. It starts small, but if you don’t deal with it, it eats away at your whole life. That’s why He says “not one of them does good.” Without God, we might do things t...

8/13/25 Good morning, Friends, Proverbs 14:1 NLT [1] A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands. This verse is saying: You can either build up what you’ve got, or you can destroy it with your own actions. In this world 🌎 we live in we see this all the time. Some women (and men too) are steady doing the work of speaking life into their kids, keeping peace in their relationships, protecting their space from drama. They’re building brick by brick. Others? They don’t even need an enemy to destroy them because they do it all by themselves. Profane mouth, speaking harsh words, disrespect, grudges, chasing foolish things, letting pride run the show. That’s like knocking holes in your own walls. A wise person knows their influence. A wise person aint perfect, but they're intentional. They question themselves like, “Will this choice help my home, or hurt it" Before you react, stop and ask πŸ€”: Will this bring peace or chaos? Am I pro...

8/11/25 Good morning 🌞 Friends,  Proverbs 13:10 NLT [10] Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise. Pride doesn’t just make you stop listening, it locks your heart up too. When you let arrogance take over, every little difference turns into beef, every disagreement into a fight. But a wise person takes advice, not because they’re soft, but because they know they don’t got the whole story. God often speaks to us through other people. Sometimes it’s a friend pointing out where we’re wrong, a mentor asking us a tough question, or even someone we disagree with saying something that makes us think. If we shut that out, we miss one of God’s ways of helping us grow. If we accept it with humility, we gain wisdom.. So, today, don’t be so quick to πŸ”Š clap back, listen πŸ‘‚πŸΎ first. Ask God to help you catch the truth in what people are saying, even if it stings a little. Pride will block your blessings, but humility will open doors. Let's get off to a great start...

8/8/25 Good morning, Beloved of God,  Hebrews 11:27 -[27] By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the rage of the king; for he endured , as seeing Him who is unseen. Moses didn’t run from Egypt in a panic. He didn’t fall apart because of Pharaoh’s threats. He walked away in faith, boldly and obediently, because he saw something greater than a king’s wrath:   he saw God . Not with his physical eyes, but with eyes of faith. That’s what you call, endurance ! Endurance isn’t about being all tough or having all the answers. It’s about keeping your eyes fixed on God when everything around you is screaming for your attention, when people are against you, when fear rises, when the future looks uncertain. Endurance is about   faith that doesn’t flinch , even when the enemy roars. I know you're not facing Pharaoh, but you might be facing pressure. You might be worn down by deadlines, a health diagnosis, wrestling with doubts, or carrying burdens that seem too heavy. But just like Moses...

8/7/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 18:2 -A fool does not delight in discernment, but only in revealing his own heart. This verse hits home because it exposes something we all struggle with..."wanting to be heard" more than we "want to listen". Solomon is saying that a fool isn't interested in understanding truth; he's only interested in expressing his own opinions. He doesn’t care what’s right, he focuses on just what he feels. This right here reminds us of our human nature toward pride and self-centeredness. Our fallen hearts are more ready to talk than to be shaped by wisdom. But the gospel flips this. Christ not only redeems us from sin, He gives us new hearts that long to understand His Word and walk in truth. That means we actually grow by  listening , by humbling ourselves under God’s authority. Am I more prepared and ready to speak my mind, or to seek God's wisdom? Are you teachable , or just talkative ?  By God’s grace, we don’t have to...

8/6/25 Good morning🌞, Friends,  2 Corinthians 5:20-21 - 20 So then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as God is pleading through us. We beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Think of a courtroom. A guilty man stands before the judge with no excuses, no defense, only the expectation of a just sentence. Then something crazy happens: the judge steps down, removes his robe, and says, “I will take your punishment. You’re free to go.” This is wild!!! 🀯The man did nothing to deserve it. That’s flat-out grace πŸ’―  This is what God has done for sinners like us. In his sovereignty, God chose us. We didn’t meet God halfway. We didn’t clean ourselves up or choose Him first. He acted entirely by His grace. Jesus, the sinless Son of God, took our guilt, our shame, our penalty, and the best part was that it was not by mistake! It was by divine design. God made Hi...

8/5/25 Good morning, Friends,  Proverbs 17:1 -Better is a dry morsel and tranquility with it than a house full of feasting with strife. Imagine sitting down to eat just a piece of dry bread—but in total peace. Now picture a table overflowing with food, but the room is filled with arguing, tension, and stress. Keep it a buck, which would you prefer? πŸ€”  This verse reminds us that peace is more valuable than having a lot of stuff. You can have a dope house, a high-paying job, or the "perfect" life on the outside—but if there's constant fighting, pressure, or unrest on the inside, what’s the point? 🀷🏾‍♂️ Sometimes we chase πŸƒπŸΎ‍♂️πŸ’¨ after abundance... more money, more comfort, more recognition. We think it’ll make us happy. But the Word of God says it’s better to have less and live in peace than to have everything and be miserable. Challenge of the day: Are you choosing peace, or just chasing more? Is your home (or heart) full of noise and stress—even though it looks “suc...

8/4/25    Good morning, Friends,  1 Timothy 2:8 - [ 8] Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension. God doesn’t just want us to  pray—He wants us to pray with pure hearts. Paul’s instruction to Timothy is simple but also challenging. Wherever God’s people gather, let prayer be the reflection of lives identified by holiness, peace, and unity. Hands being lifted in prayer is a position of surrender and worship, but it's supposed to reflect an inner reality of unstained hands, reconciled hearts, and lives that pursue peace over disputes, feuds and chaos. This verse challenges us because sometimes we try to pray while still holding onto stuff like grudges, arguments, or things we haven’t made right. It’s like we’re raising our hands to God, but deep down we’re still mad at someone or carrying things we haven’t dealt with.  This verse should make us stop and think " Am I trying to talk to God while my he...

8/2/25 Good morning, Friends,  Psalms 44:1 NLT [1] O God, we have heard it with our own ears— our ancestors have told us of all you did in their day, in days long ago: We’ve all heard the stories. Stories of miracles. Of seas splitting in two. Of walls falling from just a shout. Of giants being taken down by shepherd boys. Of God showing up when His people needed Him most. Psalm 44 opens with a reminder: We’ve heard about what God did in the past. We've also heard from our grandparents, pastors, teachers—they told us how God moved powerfully in their day too. Stories from “back then” inspire us, as they should, about our amazing God. But check ✔️ it out, God is STILL moving and shaking today ‼️ He’s still a miracle worker. Still a promise keeper. Still writing history. πŸ™πŸΎ Yahweh stir up our faith. Give us eyes to see and a heart to believe that You’re still at work. Don’t let us only stand in awe in the miracles of yesterday.  Let us live a firsthand faith, in ob...

8/1/25 Good morning, Dearly Beloved of God, Psalms 42:1-2 NLT [1] As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. [2] I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him? Have you ever been really thirsty? Not just having a dry mouth, but I mean "parched". It's like every part of you is craving one thing: WATER πŸ’¦. You don’t want a snack. You don’t want a nap. You don’t even want comfort. All you can think about is a cold drink that will refresh you and bring life back to your body. That’s the picture the psalmist paints for us. Just as a deer 🦌 searches desperately for a stream in the wilderness, he says, “That’s how my soul longs for God.” Notice something powerful here: He doesn't say, "I long for God's blessings." He doesn't say, "I long for an answer to prayer." He says, “I thirst for God… the living God.” This is more than wanting something from God. This is about wanting God...
